1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information you provide or authorize through feature use
- Camera access and live camera input used for face detection and report generation.
- Preview reports, full reports, archived records, and share content generated within the app.
- Energy balances and entitlement information obtained through rewarded ads, purchases, subscriptions, or other in-app mechanisms.
1.2 Device and technical information
- Device identifier information: the app generates and stores an installation-level device identifier to recognize entitlements, sync energy, verify purchases, and call analysis services.
- Basic device and network information such as app version, locale, request timestamps, error logs, and network responses for stability, troubleshooting, and service operations.
1.3 Face analysis data
In the current version, after local face detection, the app submits structured face-related parameters to the server for analysis, such as timestamp, face pose angles (pitch/yaw/roll), face bounding box position and size, image dimensions, device identifier, and locale. At this time, the analysis request submits structured facial parameters rather than the original photo file itself.
2. How We Use Information
- To provide face scanning, preview reports, full reports, and archive features.
- To determine current energy balance, sync energy grants, deduct unlock costs, and manage initial entitlements.
- To process in-app purchases, subscription verification, rewarded ad grants, and abuse prevention.
- To maintain service security and prevent fraud, duplicate rewards, abuse, or unauthorized access.
- To analyze crashes, abnormal requests, and product performance, and improve the user experience.

The current version does not request microphone, contacts, location, SMS, or call-related permissions.
4. Local Storage on Your Device
- The app may store your energy balance, installation identifier, pending energy sync records, and archived reports locally on your device.
- When you use sharing features, the app may temporarily generate share images in local cache storage for system sharing flows. Such cache may later be removed by the system or the app.
5. Third-Party Services
FaceX may rely on the following third-party services or platform features to provide parts of the service:
- Google Play Billing: for in-app purchases and subscriptions. Google may process purchase credentials, order status, and related payment data under its own policies.
- Google AdMob: for loading and displaying rewarded ads. AdMob and its partners may process ad delivery, attribution, and anti-fraud related information under their own policies.
- FaceX backend services: for face analysis, entitlement sync, energy grants, purchase verification, and security control.
- System sharing features: when you actively share content, that content is handled by the third-party app you choose.
How third-party platforms process your data is also governed by their own privacy policies.
6. Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information only in the following situations:
- To necessary technical service providers, payment platforms, ad platforms, or cloud service providers for core service functionality.
- To comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal process, governmental requests, or regulatory requirements.
- To protect the rights, safety, property, or legitimate interests of users, the public, FaceX, or related parties when necessary.
7. Data Retention
- Local archives, energy data, and installation identifiers may remain on your device until you uninstall the app, clear app data, or delete related content.
- Server-side logs, entitlement records, verification data, and analysis-related records may be retained for the period reasonably necessary for service delivery, security, anti-abuse, and compliance, and may later be deleted or anonymized.
8. Your Rights
- You may refuse camera permission, but scanning and report features will be affected.
- You may clear locally stored information by clearing app data or uninstalling the app.
- If you would like to request access to, deletion of, or other actions regarding server-side data, you may contact us using the contact information below.

- We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including access control, logging, purchase verification, and abnormal behavior protection.
- However, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is absolutely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
